Pizza Crust
The pizza crust is the foundation of any great pizza. It can be thin and crispy, thick and chewy, or somewhere in between, depending on your preference. A well-made crust is golden brown on the outside and has a slightly bready texture on the inside. The type of flour used, the amount of time the dough is fermented, and the cooking method all play a role in the final texture and flavor of the crust. Some popular pizza crust styles include New York-style (thin and crispy), Chicago deep-dish (thick and doughy), and Neapolitan (thin and chewy with a slightly charred crust). No matter what your preference, a delicious pizza starts with a great crust.
